We confirm the work, remove and label the doors, prepare every surface, spray the removable pieces in our facility and finish the fixed cabinet sections on site.
Process
What we do at each stage.
Doors and drawer fronts are labelled and taken to our spray facility. The cabinet boxes stay in your home and are prepared and finished on site.
Photos and estimate
Send kitchen photos, your location and an approximate door and drawer count. We review the job, confirm the service and provide a written estimate.
Remove and label
Doors and drawer fronts are removed, protected, and brought to P2D Refinishing's spray facility while fixed cabinet boxes stay in place.
Clean, sand, prime
Every surface is degreased, sanded and primed so the new finish has a clean, properly prepared base.
Spray and cure
Primer and lacquer coats are sprayed in the approved colour inside our controlled facility.
On-site finish
We protect the room and finish the fixed cabinet frames, panels and trim that stay in your home.
Reinstall and review
Doors and drawer fronts are reinstalled and aligned. We inspect the work with you and explain basic care.
While the work is underway
Your cabinet boxes stay in place.
For most refinishing projects, you do not need to empty every cabinet unless the inside is part of the quote. We protect the room, set up a contained work area and explain when the kitchen can be used.
After preparation, primer and lacquer coats are applied in the colour you approved. We then reinstall the doors and drawer fronts, adjust the alignment and review the finished kitchen with you.
